We're proud to welcome folk/punk pioneer Danbert Nobacon (musician page), co-founder of Leeds-based anarcho-punk/pop/folk collective Chumbawamba, back for his fourth year. Danbert will act as MC while also providing acoustic solo numbers between bands. He will then be joined at the end of the night by The Bad Things.

Also joining the bill, for the fifth year, The Mongrel Jews. The only band to play every installment of Folk As Punk and always a rowsing time. Intuitive Compass joins us for the first time from Grants Pass, Oregon. Enjoy their thoroughly modern take on ragtime, blues, jug band, western swing, gypsy jazz and traditional folk music. Bellingham's Strangely returns with his drunken sailor sing-a-longs and unrepentant accordion blasts. Always a showman and not to be missed. And finally, joining us for the first time, Seattle and Portland's Barnswallow featuring Junkyard Amy Lee and Ben from Dirty Kid Discount on accordion. They call it "Cascadian acoustic folk punk" and it's great.
